INNER VOICE VIDEOS--ENJOY!!!!!!!

My Inner Voice

After having a few days of solitude, I am back....and I have found my inner voice. I will be honest. I have been trying to shove my incredible ability and potential into a pickle jar. Through reflection, I have decided to follow my inner voice in life. The path I am now following is one filled with passion and purpose.

I discovered that you can listen to your inner voice, the essence of who you are, by following five steps:
  1. Check in with your heart.
  2. Connect with your body.
  3. Listen to your intuition.
  4. Notice your self-saboteur.
  5. Identify limiting beliefs.

Shhhh

Shhh, what's that I hear?

That disturbing sound that's in my ear,

We all hear it from time to time,

That sound that brings back memories of mind.

Shhh, listen and you may feel,

all the dreams because they were real.

Then tell me friend what is it I hear?

It is your Inner Voice that is so near...

If you have not found your inner voice, I hope you find it real soon....

So after our days of SOLITUDE, here is your next assignment for your random act of kindness!

Buy a new calendar for a workmate.

This is a wonderful time of the year to perform this act of kindness. Most bookstores have their calendars on clearance....I have seen them at Border's for a $1! Buy a calendar and give it to a co-worker. Leave the clearance sticker on the calendar to show them how frugal you are!

If you do not live near a bookstore, here are some calendars you can order online:

MADONNA CALENDAR

GEORGE BUSH CALENDAR

MS. BITCH CALENDAR

MOORIAH SCAREY CALENDAR

If you cannot afford to buy a calendar, make one from MS Word or Publisher....or go to a funeral home, bank, or insurance company and ask for a free one! The posibilities are endless! Your inner voice will help you find the proper way to achieve your goal of donating at least one calendar to a friend or coworker before Monday! I know you can do it!

I have FIgured it Out!

Today's RANDOM ACT of KINDNESS: THE GIFT OF SOLITUDE!

Solitude is the state of being alone without being lonely. It is a positive and constructive state of engagement with oneself. Solitude is desirable, a state of being alone where you provide yourself wonderful and sufficient company.

Solitude is a time that can be used for reflection, inner searching or growth or enjoyment of some kind. Deep reading requires solitude, so does experiencing the beauty of nature. Thinking and creativity usually do too.

Solitude suggests peacefulness stemming from a state of inner richness. It is a means of enjoying the quiet and whatever it brings. that is satisfying and from which we draw sustenance. It is something we cultivate. Solitude is refreshing; an opportunity to renew ourselves. In other words, it replenishes us.

Gift of solitude: spend some time in silence

I finally realized today that Ms. Bitch has been bestowing on us a gift of solitude these past few weeks. I, for one, am appreciative of her random act of kindness and hope that she continues to shower us with this gift of silence!

I encourage Mediocre Travis to give the gift of solitude for the rest of the week (or even the rest of the month!) What a wonderful gift to bestow on us all!

I have decided to spend the next few hours in silence. I may read a book or watch a movie that makes you "think about things."

May Sarton:

Loneliness is the poverty of self; solitude is the richness of self.

Pearl S. Buck:

The person who tries to live alone will not succeed as a human being. His heart withers if it does not answer another heart. His mind shrinks away if he hears only the echoes of his own thoughts and finds no other inspiration.

Pearl S. Buck:

I love people. I love my family, my children . . . but inside myself is a place where I live all alone and that's where you renew your springs that never dry up.

Ralph Waldo Emerson:

What I must do is all that concerns me, not what the people think. This rule, equally arduous in actual and intellectual life, may serve for the whole distinction between greatness and meanness. It is the harder, because you will always find those who think they know what is your duty better than you know it. It is easy in the world to live after the world's opinion; it is easy in solitude to live after our own; but the great person is one who in the midst of the crowd keeps with perfect sweetness the independence of solitude.

IN CELEBRATION of SILENCE---a poem to encourage you in today RAOK!

Silence

A day of Silence

Can be a pilgrimage in itself.

A day of Silence

Can help you listen

To the Soul play

Its marvellous lute and drum.

Is not most talking

A crazed defence of a crumbling fort?

I thought we came here

To surrender in Silence,

To yield to Light and Happiness,

To Dance within

In celebration of Love’s Victory!

Anne Murray - DUSTY SPRINGFIELD duet

ANNE AND DIONNE WARWICK DUET

My First Dedication of 2008

You know who this is dedicated to....You know who you are! :)

If God Had a Refrigerator

"If God had a refrigerator, your picture would be on it.

If He had a wallet, your photo would be in it.

He sends you flowers every spring, and a sunrise every morning.

Whenever you want to talk, He'll listen.

He could live anywhere in the universe, and He chose your heart."

I AM SO GLAD THAT MY CAMPAIGN TO PROMOTE RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS HAS CAUGHT ON WITH SO MANY OF YOU. HERE IS AN INSPIRATIONAL STORY FOR YOU TO MOTIVATE YOU TO BE KINDER!

Here is an example of the power of anonymous gifts. Years ago a young talented lady was gifted $1000 by an anonymous benefactor when he saw her perform at a society party. The money was designated for her to go to New York to launch her professional career with the promise to repay the money by helping others if she ever became a success. To this day this lady does not know the identity of her benefactor but she kept her promise and has repaid the money hundreds of times over to those less fortunate. Her name: Carol Burnett!

YOUR ASSIGNMENT FOR THE NEXT 24 HOURS
CANVAS BAGS
When you see people using canvas bags in a grocery store, thank them for caring and let them know you appreciate their efforts.

If you do not own a canvas grocery bag yourself, here are some places where you can order your own:

If you cannot afford to buy a canvas bag at this time, take old grocery bags with you and reuse them at the market!!!! You could also donate some of your old grocery bags (paper or plastic) to neighbors and friends! I know they would appreciate the gift!

An Important Announcement

It is hard to believe how many kind acts have been bestowed on others since I have started the campaign on this site. I am so excited that my initiative has caught on in so many parts of the world.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT for the next 24 hours..........

Cut out a favorite comic, horoscope or picture and tape it to a friend/stranger's locker, car, door, office, etc.

What a super surprise! Here are some examples of how you can spread good will by completing this task.

I would tape this on Alcina's door:

I would tape this on Mediocre Travis' door:

I would tape this to Ms. Bitch's door:

Laughing at Ignorance

I am touched at how many of you missed me while I took a vacation from blogging. One blog post has received so much attention on here! It amazes me still that some people have this misconception that I write the Madonna blog. I laugh at your ignorance! It seems that the numerous clues that I posted during the past few months have not made it clear the true identity of the Madonna blogger. Someday, I may just come out and blurt the secret....but it seems unfair to those who emailed me and told me that they had figured the riddle out. What does one do?

It seems that my post did get the panties of the TOT in a wad. It seems that they do not have a sense of humor sometimes. I have not decided what the winner of the new poll contest will be awarded. I think a Plastic is Tragic tote bag might be appropriate! I am not sure. I myself have not voted in the poll because I do not hate Mediocre Travis nor Ms. Bitch. At least not today! :)

I was happy to hear that many of you decided to perform a random act of kindness based on my post. Isn't it rewarding to do nice things? (even if you do them for the wrong reasons!)

TODAY's ASSIGNMENT!

1. Visit this web site: http://www.actsofkindness.org/index.asp
2. Pay a compliment to every person you encounter today.

Here are some examples:

1. Ms. Bitch, I love your wig!
2. Mediocre Travis, I read your blog today and I was so inspired. Keep up the good work.
3. Madonna, I loved your performance in Shanghai Suprise. You are the greatest actress of all time.
4. Britanny, you are such a good mother.
5. Alcina, your latest artwork is "da bomb."

Sometimes, you have to stretch the truth when paying one a compliment. (See #2 and 3 above.) Sometimes, you have to tell a little white lie. (See #1.) Other times, you have to just have to make up something in order to pay someone a compliment...you have to just lie through your teeth. (see #4). Other times, you can be honest and truthful in your compliments. I encourage all of you to try this during the next 24 hours. I know I feel better already!

I did not eat beef or pork today. I ate a piece of rye bread for breakfast. I ate Strawberry sorbet for a snack. I had a tasteless Lean Cuisine meal for lunch. I was bad and had Chicken Enchiladas at a Mexican restaurant tonight! I am still keeping all the weight off that I lost.

Addicted to Tower Defense

I have not written a blog entry in some time. I am sorry....The Trinity of Terror sites have been so tired and boring here lately that I have not been inspired to blog. In addition, I have become addicted to this free online game called Tower Defense. It is wonderful tool in relieving stress.

My three NEW YEAR's resolutions are the following:

1. Create blog entries that are far superior to those of the Trinity of Terror. (I know you are saying....your blog entries are always superior than those of the TOT! I know--I know---but I want my posts to be FAR superior. I am raising the bar. This blog entry does not count. I am still weak from the stomach virus!)
2. I will eat beef and/or pork no more than two times per week. I have lost almost 25 pounds in the past few months!
3. I will do more to help others.

I am been enlightened by the following web site: http://www.helpothers.org/

My way to help others today is called LONG DISTANCE KINDNESS. I am asking my friends (and foes) from other places to donate a book to a random person. Here is how....

1. Find a book.
2. Inscribe the inside jacket of a book with your favorite quote and your home city.
3. Leave it in a public place.

I encourage the TRINITY of TERROR to try this as well. NO MADONNA BOOKS!
